The first day begins with travel from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania. After arrival, the program continues with a 4x4 game drive through the Nyerere safari region.
Depending on conditions, guests may look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, buffalo, lions and other wildlife before dinner and an overnight stay in a safari lodge.

Boat Safari on the Rufiji River
The second day includes a boat safari on the Rufiji River. The water-based route offers a different perspective from the 4x4 game drive and may provide sightings of hippos, crocodiles and water birds.
